(lygenztia *236) Its called a "scanner" S-C-A-N-N-E-R
At the local Megalow Mart the other night, patiently waiting in a long line. There's always a line at the Megalow Mart, that's just the way it is. Fortunately, they now have Krusty Burgers in their stores, if you get hungry waiting in line.
Anyway, the guy in front of me has a plastic spatula in his cart. The thing probably cost about $1.59 and it also does not have a UPC sticker anywhere on it. Now, the Megalow Mart probably has 50-60,000 items for sale in the store, but this guy expected the cashier to know the price of the item.
He actually did.
Now, in this day and age you KNOW that every item is scanned at the cashier at the Megalow Mart. Sooooo, if you want an item make sure it has a UPC sticker on it and if the one you want doesn't have one, then just find an item that does. BEFORE you go to the cashier. (dummy) If you don't know that, or can't figure it out.....then you should not be allowed to shop, or go in a store....no spatula for YOU!
(lygenztia *235) Back...with even fewer pearls of wisdom
My my,
How difficult it is to find the time to compose with any form of consistency. How's that old saying go?
"life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans"
Anyway, I am going to do my best to write at least once a week, so visit me and hopefully I will have some meaningless drivel here that you can waste a few moments with.
For those of you that asked me why I quit writing, thanks for thinking of me. I didn't quit composing, I just didn't take the time to do the transfer from brain to blog.
Here's to an early spring!
