I'm not really sure when this whole craft beer genre became so pervasive in the pub industry. That said, I sure do like it. Some of the brews are nasty, mind you. That said, once you get a taste for the craft beer the mass produced brew seems so..."pedestrian". Another fun aspect is watching the uninitiated develop a taste for the craft suds. (insert funny faces and grimaces here)

I will say the craft beer snobs annoy me, with their lofty assessments of the various brews, but they are to be ignored as beer is to be enjoyed. The craft beer snob is usually attired in some whacky hat (like a "beret") and has an odd smell about them. You can be clean and sample beer, ya know, snobby stinkerson.

Anyway, get out and enjoy a craft pint and support the little guy. Man Antler in Bowmanville is one of my absolute favourites and Thursday night is open Mic night for the music genre.
